I decided that, before painting the 912, I should strip the original paint from the inside of the floor pans and interior, and paint the inside. When I got the interior out, and removed some of the the paint, I found a little rust. Nothing too bad. There is a very small hole in the floor just in front of the driver’s seat rails. And the rear package tray has some rust.

Overall, it isn’t bad at all. But, it will need to be fixed before I can really move forward with body work.
